Over 43 million Americans have student loans, with balances averaging around $37,000.
Nearly 1 in 3 Americans say they rely on credit cards for essentials like groceries and gas
High-interest debt makes it hard to build savings or invest in the future.
But it doesn't have to be this way!!!
Many Americans live paycheck to paycheck, using credit to cover basic expenses.
A large percentage of Americans don’t have enough saved to cover a $1,000 emergency.
This makes many people vulnerable to unexpected expenses.
This doesn't have to be you!!!
1 in 4 Americans have no retirement savings at all.
The median 401(k) balance for Americans aged 55–64 is only about $89,000 — which would provide less than $400/month over 25 years.
You can prepare for Retirement!!!
My Family Story
Not sure what to expect... Neither were we.
When my (now) wife and I first started dating, we moved to San Diego with a group of friends, full of excitement—and very little money. I was just getting started in my career, barely scraping by, while she was making a bit more and loved to travel. Naturally, that led to a lot of tension. We kept butting heads over money—how to spend it, how to save it, and whether we could afford to take trips together.
I was super conservative with my spending, focused on covering the basics and avoiding debt. She wanted to enjoy life a little more. It felt like we were speaking different languages when it came to finances.
Around that time, my dad told me about a guy named Dave Ramsey. He and my stepmom had just gone through Financial Peace University and thought it might help us too. We figured, “Why not?” We were engaged by then and knew we needed to get on the same page before we tied the knot.
That class changed everything. It gave us a common language, a shared plan, and—most importantly—it ended the money fights. We started budgeting together, built up an emergency fund, and got intentional about our goals.
Fast forward to today: we've weathered two layoffs in less than two years, and because of what we learned, we were prepared. No panic, no scrambling—just adjusting and moving forward with peace of mind.
Financial coaching changed our life. Now, I want to help others experience the same freedom and clarity we found—starting with that very first conversation.
Still not sure, let's chat through your situation and see if coaching can help you, like it did us.
